Working with Portakabin, we were rapidly able to complete the ground works for an all new school configured using 179 steel framed modules across 6000 metres square which enabled the school to re-open just 10 weeks after its buildings were destroyed in a devastating fire.
The project involved careful planning and commitment to ensure the school could be constructed in the short timescale given to minimise disruption to the student’s education.
The new interim school provided a high quality learning environment until the site was be redeveloped.
The buildings were located on a sports field so all necessary drainage, foundations, tarmac, a temporary car park, as well as access ramps and steps were constructed.
In 2012, we returned working with Portakabin following the removal of the modular buildings to undertake landscaping works and construction of a new car park.
