We have recently completed the site works on our latest project at Walton Hospital in Chesterfield, delivered for our long-standing client Actiform Ltd.
The scheme was completed in two phases, each incorporating its own independent drainage system. Phase one included a crate attenuation system, while phase two utilised oversized concrete pipework to manage surface water effectively.
To achieve level access into and throughout the new building, the site levels were raised to match the adjacent roadway. This involved the installation of a precast retaining wall system and significant mass fill to reprofile the existing sloped site. The works also included the construction of multiple raised concrete plinths to accommodate plant equipment.
