Demolition and rebuild of two shops
The working footprint of this site caused huge complexities with ingress and access. The heavy machinery was manoeuvred painstakingly with absolute consideration for the residents and the neighbouring businesses including a pub.
After demolition, Ellison dug out a large base below the road level using sheet pilling to support the pavement and road.
The build was not just about skill; it was about patience, negotiation and diplomacy.
